Here at Varzaneh Traditional Guesthouse, we accommodate a larger
number of foreign tourists over other
Varzaneh guesthouses and hotels. Why? Well, before I let you
know about the reasons, I should first give you some information about our city.
There are not many cities in Iran that offer both natural and historical tourist
spots to travelers, and our beautiful small city is one of them.
Varzaneh is located
in the Iranian province of Isfahan, 110 km to the east of Isfahan city.
Archeological studies show that the city’s civilization is over 5000 years old.
Going over the list of historical tourist attractions in Varzaneh, one can point
to Ghoortan Citadel, Jameh Mosque of Varzaneh, the Old Bridge, Yusefi
Traditional House, The Pigeon Tower, Camel Mill, etc. And as for the natural
attractions in Varzaneh, there is Varzaneh Desert that has become really popular
for reasons explained below.

Varzaneh Desert Tours and Salt Lake
The first reason
Varzaneh Guesthouse is doing
better than any other
Varzaneh hotel is that this guesthouse has been
started by the same people who
started Yasna Varzaneh Traditional Guesthouse. Now, those who have already
stayed at this guesthouse know that
we run the best Iran Varzaneh Desert tours.
On these tours, one gets to
go to the golden picturesque sand dunes in Varzaneh,
walk on them,
slide or tumble down to take silly pictures, or even
sandboard on
them. We take you to
Varzaneh Salt Lake as well which is by far
the most
beautiful Salt Lake in Iran. But
our great
Iran tours are
not the only reason
behind our popularity.
Traditional Hotel in Varzaneh
Our
traditional hotel in Varzaneh is in fact
a traditional historic house dating
back to
Pahlavi period. It is located at a distance of
200 m from Varzaneh Bus
Terminal and at
two-min walking distance from Jameh Mosque of Varzaneh.
Therefore, the
location of the place is
most convenient. There is
a very
beautiful traditional courtyard at our Varzaneh hotel where our guests can
enjoy
the always available free tea,
relax, brag about
the travel experiences they’ve
had, or
exchange numbers. As for the rooms, there are
both private rooms and
dormitory in the building. Most of the rooms except for the dorm have
private
bathrooms and showers inside which is really great if you take the standards at
other
Varzaneh guesthouses into account. The
walls of the building have been
decorated in a traditional Persian style and there is also
a small
pool of water with a fountain in the courtyard.
Amenities and Services at Varzaneh Guesthouse
Another reason that has made us
the first option of accommodation in Varzaneh
is our
home-like vibe. The
owner of the guesthouse (
Mr. Ahmad Shahbaz)
and his family
cook and serve local dishes for the guests. He joins the guests at
the guesthouse's courtyard as they eat the meals and
gives them a taste of his
great knowledge about the city and its sights. The
warm and humble presence of
Ahmad and the
other knowledgeable and helpful onsite staff is the top service at Varzaneh Guesthouse.
The
rooms are all
set around the courtyard and are
simply
furnished with comfortable beds and clean sheets. There is also
a kitchen
in the guesthouse where the guests who are interested get to
cook a meal
for themselves. Furthermore, the cost of the
breakfast and Wi-Fi internet is
included in the rooms rates.
Tehran’s Hotels and Hostels
Varzaneh is often frequented by desert tours, most of which start from Tehran.
The capital of Iran is also the first place you will visit upon entering the
country. That means, even if you don’t intend to visit Tehran’s tourist
attractions, you will need to spend at least a night in an accommodation
facility.
Tehran’s hotels are probably the most reputable lodges in Iran. Among
the five-star hotels, one could mention Espinas, Parsian Azadi, Laleh and
Esteghlal. Diversity of service in
Tehran budget accommodation sector is even
more striking. These include Tehran’s guesthouses, budget hotels and youth
hostels. The last option, namely hostels is a rather new phenomenon in Iran.
When Seven Hostel in Tehran, as the first hostel in Iran, opened three years ago
nobody could have guessed that soon these boisterous little places would house
the majority of budget travelers. Often known as the best hostel in Tehran,
Seven Hostel offers most of the popular features in an ideal youth hostel. Great
international vibe, superb amenities and wonderful staff in Tehran’s finest
hostel, together with a simple booking process makes Seven the hottest budget
lodge in the city.
